Our early childhood and elementary programs serve children of various ages and educational stages. Our early childhood program, as well as our before and after school program, are certified by the Child Care Division and our director is Keriann Hunter.
Our Preschool Program is a wonderful introduction to education. We offer exciting classroom experiences that inspire a love for learning, as well as a nurturing and encouraging environment so children feel happy, safe, and confident. Our program serves children who are 3 years old by September 1. We offer a 5-full day program that runs from 8:00am-4:00pm and a 5-half day program that runs from 8:00am-11:15am.
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program serves children who are 4 years old by September 1 and is an educational catalyst to prepare students for kindergarten and instill a true joy for learning. We have two Pre-K classrooms, each with a maximum student enrollment of 20 students, and each with 1 head teacher and 1 teacher assistant. Children enrolled in our Half Day Pre-K class attend school Monday-Friday from 8:00am-11:15am. Our Full Day Pre-K class runs from 8:00am-3:10pm and these families have the option of sending their child to our after school care program (Beyond the Classroom) until 6:00pm.
Finally, our Kindergarten through 8th grade Program serves children ages 5-14 and offers a vibrant learning environment for students to learn and grow. In additional to instilling a strong academic foundation, all of our students experience weekly courses in music, P.E., technology, Spanish, art and library. Our engaging campus, together with our dedicated faculty and staff, ensure a safe and collaborative space for students to learn and explore. Upon graduation our students are well-rounded stewards of their community and are prepared to be successful in high school. Class sizes range from 24-30 students, and our larger classes, particularly at the primary level, are assigned educational assistants. The typical school day runs from 8:00am-3:10pm with the exception of Wednesdays when we dismiss at 2:10pm.
